Antikythera is bringing new concepts to the philosophy of technology and new trajectories to planetary computation thanks to the generosity of its partners and sponsors.
Antikythera is based at the Berggruen Institute, a 501c3 non-profit think tank that as its launch partner provides operational support, project support, and fiscal sponsorship for many of Antikythera's initiatives.
Antikythera regularly collaborates with foundations, industry partners, venture firms, and university research programs to explore shared inquiries into the most compelling, cutting-edge ideas about the future of computation. Projects take shape as sponsored research studios, private salons and seminars, public lectures and symposia, bespoke reports and workshops, and other events.
As part of its programs, Antikythera has partnered with One Project Foundation, the Berggruen China Centre, the MIT Media Lab, MIT School of Architecture, Google Paradigms of Intelligence, the Long Now Foundation, Google DeepMind, Peking University, Cambridge Centre for the Future of Intelligence, Cambridge Centre for Existential Risk, University of Southern California, Sci-Arc, and Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, NYU-Shanghai Center for AI and Culture, and University of California San Diego.
Supporting partners fund Research & Development Units and receive tax-deductible, first-look access to venture-ready projects. Download Antikythera’s deck to learn more about its philosophy, research impact, and partnerships.
